CHEW - Secret Agent Poyo #1

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Duh. It is CHEW. It is perfect. As always.

Nothing can bring this series down. Not even “…a half dozen [mercury tipped] [hollow point] [.45 caliber] bullets…”

From start to finish, this single comic made me smile from ear to ear. I knew it would. It lived up to and exceeded all of my expectations. It even fits in with CHEW continuity and timing.

Top 5 reasons you should FLY to your LCS and buy this book:

1. It is CHEW, better yet, it is SECRET AGENT POYO!!!
2. The Hell scene alone, is worth the price of the book.
3. It is completely over the top, the good over the top, though.
4. It is a tribute to everything that is great about CHEW - perfect Art, excellent writing, elegant and non-gratuitous use of curse words, and an uncanny ability to take something completely wacky and have it make complete sense.
5. FROOSH and SPLOOIE! (this will make sense once you see the scenes for these onomatopoeia)

The “Gallery” at the back is well worth the price of admission as well. It just goes to show you, POYO transcends all artistic boundaries!
